One species that is never overlooked during the festivities are Bunkins. Small, round, and constantly chirping, they are adored for their soft feathers and colorful shells. Throughout their juvenile stage and most of their adulthood, their eggshells remain fused to their bodies, growing with the Bunkin until they are no longer needed. The eggshell offers valuable nutrients, protection, and attracts a partner later on in their life cycle.
